CCA NH supports and greatly appreciates the efforts of Robert Jesurum in his pledge to restore public access to Sanders Poynt on Wentworth Rd in Rye, NH. The public had access to the beach through Sanders Poynt for over 20 years until the area was landscaped to block entry.

Robert Jesurum was the 2016 recipient of the Conservationist of the Year award, presented at the 2016 Piscataqua Oysterpalooza.

On August 28th, 2015 a judge ruling stated that the public would retain access to Sanders Poynt. However, the Supreme Court ruling that said Jesurum should be reimbursed for his attorneys fees was overturned. Robert is continuing to fight to be reimbursed for the legal costs incurred.

CCA NH IS ACCEPTING TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS TO HELP ROBERT IN HIS EFFORT TO PAY THE 100,000 IN LEGAL FEES.

Donations can be made via check should be payable to the “Coastal Conservation Association of New Hampshire” with the notation line on the lower left of the check stating “Sander’s Poynt Legal Fund” so that CCA NH can direct these donations accordingly. CCA NH thanks you for your support in this effort.
